In my early adolescence, I wanted to be a priest, even a monk, and after a politician, dreaming of changing lives for all people—total failure. Still, I was an excellent environmental NGO leader, educated in Budapest, to become today an independent journalist because it is the only zone where you no need to take a side for the truth.
Writing this, I realized that my success in NGOs is not random, and from 2013, I prepare myself daily to understand the facts or find reliable sources of information. Rational and strategically thinking prevail in this field. We need religion and politics, but we survive with science. We evolve with science.
Our brain manner is setting us to stay secure in a predictable environment and denying the new pattern, protecting achievement and repetition. How science communicates in these particular moments, across by each society, is adjusting or annihilating the next step.
The System is not entirely changeable but can be permanently improved. We live the first epidemic time in history when human or religious sacrifice is no longer required. Fewer cathedrals but more space ships. The context, courtesy the science to fill the void left by the capacity impediment of ”already old normal.”
We have equality between violence and a low level of knowledge. It is unacceptable. To raise the future, we need to improve the science spread. In this way, I see science communication as a critical tool for driving systems change. Our capacity to understand is coming from the reasonable quality of information and behind this quality stays hours of research, analysis, failure, the human mind—no guessing, sorcery, or divination.
We like to talk about a ”new society” in every generation exchange or when a crisis appears, and not too much in practice is happening. Two meters space around you, no shaking hands, no touching outside the intimate relationship arrived.
