Let’s take a classic Indian story: usual family – four girls and one boy, loving first daughter, a father who is making her mind for the future.  You can see how she is growing up, and it is called Roshan Lal. Even the specific music and dance is there. Exactly like in the legends because that it is today: a myth in the mind of other women who are spreading her story in the shadow of the Banyan tree.

Any story is starting with the character: person and attitude. Sharma Roshni felt her adventurous spirit from the age of discovering the surroundings and herself. The parents understand in those early times that with their daughter, gender stands only for relations determination. Riding the father motorcycle around age 16, it is merely nature calling long before age 23 of school graduates.

If you have an investigative curiosity, are you expecting to read a unique fact about Sharma Roshni? Maybe it is a pure surprise to find her evolutionary steps under the influence of Major Kalim, an older adviser or the Lady riding a Royal Enfield on a popular moto show. This unique moment when she is invited to join first like pillion rider and after independent one is marking the later desire for a great adventure.

The time is losing value when you have a real dream. Slowly and rhythmically in Sharma Roshni’s mind, a contour becomes in force. Money made in Bangalore makes her understand the life value – a commitment to meaningful. Sells everything, packing and in two months under another adventurer impressions, Sharma is starting the most dangerous ride from her time: crossing India alone on a motorcycle from South to North. Maybe in your country, this is not so impressive, but the women’s status, infrastructure, regional differences, night insecurity, forests with wild animals are real issues for India.

Is she scared? Yes. She announced the family in the last moment to be sure that their concerns will be helpful in guidance on this long road: 4000 km in ten days back on her precious Bajaj Avenger 200.

In India, it is common to share. Things, time, experience. The journey started, and people from all 30 provinces become aware of the message. Roshni is waited on the road, protected by Motor Clubs, guided in traffic, admired in media. Still, the danger is present, so only one person knew all time where is the next sleeping location. In her memory, persist the moment of midnight alone in a deep forest on a lorry route. Abuse possibility from drivers or tigers attack stays in her mind this time if a problem with the motorcycle appears.

It was a hard moment. When is looking back on this memory is still scared. At this story moment, I decided to record her audio, and you can listen here.

North of India is open for circulation only a few months per year. The time is not waiting and any delay can jeopardize all plans. The night isn’t a friend for a lonely woman so was no time for rest during the daylight. Keep the road and the mission. Praying means relief and protection. Roshni is still keeping this in her morning meditation as you already find in our audio recording.

Roshni Sharma is now in the Netherlands better in her IT work and restless regarding a new plan to conquer Europe. More about her adventure in these links:

You need to continue being who you are, even if being who you are doesn’t transport you to a state of sustained and uninterrupted psychological bliss. Our nature is to chase the teasing and elusive butterfly of happiness, not always to capture it.

“你是晚风渐息,星河若隐,一场小别离。
你是破晓清晨,灿烂眼中的光景。
你是时光轻轻哼唱,宛若星辉铺满小巷,黑白的琴键,闪着晨曦的光。
你是回忆与爱,叙旧的歌,只唱给我听。
你是心底的花,盛开在我的四季。
你是信纸上的彩墨,写着我喜欢的词句。
心中有了你,眼光绽放欢喜。”
